Dear Friends and Supporters,
We've
had a great summer on the Snow-Camp London and Snow-Camp Graduate
programmes and we're all set to launch Snow-Camp Excel, our instructor
programme on October 10th with Snowsport England. The new winter season
is rapidly approaching and we have lots of exciting activities lined up.
Pencil in our pre-season SNO!raiser slope party at Milton Keynes
SNO!zone on the 9th October, and if you've not signed up already to the
SNO!zone Snow-Camp Rally or the Snow-Camp Everest Challenge and would
like to get involved, we'd love to hear from you!
Enjoy this month's update.
Snow-Camp Programmes It's been a busy summer with our Snow-Camp
London programme running over July and August, with over 270 young
people participating at Chatham Ski Slope and Milton Keynes SNO!zone.
The Snow-Camp Graduate programme will complete on October 10th and has
had great input from the snow sports industry in delivering vocational
sessions with the young people. The 10th October will also see us
launching our new Snow-Camp Excel instructor programme which has been
developed with Snowsport England. The young people who participate in
Excel, will work towards a Level 1 Ski or Snowboard Instructor
qualification between October and February. We’ll be updating you on our
exciting new programmes for our young people next month and in the
meantime do follow our updates on the Snow-Camp Facebook group.

Ali's Cycle Challenge 2010
We
were delighted to be the beneficiary of the annual Ali Rainback
Memorial Cycle Challenge on 5th September from Annecy to Courchevel. Ali
was one of the founders of New Generation Ski & Snowboard School
and the ride brought many people together to challenge themselves in a
way that Ali would have loved. It was a fantastic day and through
everyone’s generosity on the day raised funds to send at least 12
inner-city young people on our next Snow-Camp London programme.
