- Note also that competitors must wear a properly fitted and approved safety helmet on the slope through-out the event.

RSS News Feeds - what are they and how do I read them?
- RSS feeds are a spam-free, quick and efficient way to read news and weblogs.
To get the most out of newsfeeds, you need a powerful aggregator, though, that lets you
organize, search, categorize and use news items just like emails.
- You'll need a good RSS News Feed reader to do this - Google Reader
is one of the best. There are lots out there, each with their
own specialities and quirks, so pick one that suits you, but if you don't know then try Google Reader.

How the Equality Act 2010 affects sports clubs
-
- The Government Equalities Office has prepared guidance on the changes that
have recently been made to the Equality Act 2010 which may
affect some sports clubs.
- The provisions in the Act do not necessarily
apply to all sports clubs, but they do
affect clubs/associations which:
- * have 25 or more members, and
- * control access to membership by rules involving a selection process.
- For example, clubs which require people to make a personal application, be
sponsored by other members and/or go through some kind of selection process will be affected by the changes.
-
The guidance can be found here
on this site or on the Government
Equalities web site
here along with
other useful information.

Skiing
- It's ecstasy, anguish, joy and despair.
- It's part of our history.
- It's part of our country and will be part of our future.
- It's theatre, art, war and love.
- It should be predictable, but never is.
- It's a feeling that can't be explained but we spend our lives explaining it.
- It's our religion. We do not deny it, we do not apologise for it.
-
- We know how you feel about it because we feel the same.
